Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer – Process Development (Mechanical) leads design and launch of production lines, develops and optimizes manufacturing processes and assembly systems, and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure cost-effective, high-quality solutions. Responsibilities include developing and improving processes and equipment, leading new product/process launches, designing assembly stations and tooling, generating detailed documentation, coordinating with machine builders and suppliers, performing FAT/SAT, conducting PFMEA and process capability studies, supporting R&D with cost and time estimates, and ensuring compliance with industry standards (VDA, IATF, ISO). Requires CAD/3D modeling (Creo), experience with PFMEA and process capability analyses, and 4–8 years of relevant experience; travel and US work authorization without sponsorship are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 4-8 years of experience in manufacturing, process development, automation, or industrial engineering
- Experience supporting new product launches and production line development preferred
- Internship or co-op experience considered a plus
- Strong CAD and 3D modeling experience (Creo preferred)
- Knowledge of manufacturing automation, controls, and electrical systems is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and statistical software (Minitab or equivalent)
- Experience with PFMEA, process capability analysis, and continuous improvement methods
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Passport and international travel ability
