Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer needed to improve manufacturing processes using Lean principles, evaluate and recommend equipment for blow molding production and logistics, develop routings and costing, deploy new products, and collaborate with production, logistics, maintenance and processing teams in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET)
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical analysis, time studies, and manufacturing cost
- Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as routine reports and correspondence, safety rules, procedure manuals, and general business documents
- Proficient computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping and working knowledge of Microsoft Office which include Outlook, Word and Excel
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD, 3D CAD experience is a plus
- Lean manufacturing experience/certification is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in front of groups and work in a team environment
