Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer responsible for the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment in a medical device environment. Lead engineering activities such as specifying and validating new equipment and materials, troubleshooting processes, managing projects in a matrix organization, and driving cost-reduction and yield-improvement initiatives. Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, customer service, and suppliers; apply Six Sigma principles to identify key process parameters and develop monitoring tools; conduct validations and assist technicians in executing validation protocols; design gauges, fixtures, tooling and methods; drive capability improvements in manufacturing areas; promote cross-functional teamwork and communication; prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
- 3+ years of experience in process development/improvement and manufacturing
