Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer for Aerospace manufacturing in Greater Montgomery, AL. Support production and development programs with zero-defect manufacturing execution through robust process design and continuous improvement. Key duties include developing and implementing technical solutions for complex manufacturing challenges, supporting production integration and supplier-related issues, leading root cause investigations and corrective actions for non-conformances, designing tooling and production plans, supporting manufacturing activities such as quoting, tooling design, configuration changes, and first article inspections, delivering measurable results aligned with value-stream objectives, and championing Lean initiatives through various manufacturing processes. Collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners; mentoring and leadership are encouraged. Relocation assistance available; on-site in Tallassee, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 3 (three) years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Experience with composite materials or equivalent engineered materials (e.g., fiber-reinforced polymers, laminates, or hybrid structures) in a manufacturing or product development environment
- U.S. Person status per ITAR requirements
