Job Summary
Develop and optimize production processes for GMP manufacturing environments while providing technical support for production equipment. Collaborate with scientists, design engineers, and quality teams to build and scale production operations, focusing on process validation, equipment, tooling, and documentation under FDA and ISO 13485 standards. Troubleshoot process deviations to improve consistency and support new equipment acquisition, including machine selection, installation, and validation. Design fixturing and tooling concepts, assist in developing SOPs and control processes, and ensure robust performance through adherence to company quality management systems. Requires a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related engineering fields with 5+ years in thin film processes like CVD and PVD. Core hours are 8am-5pm with a hybrid schedule in Irvine, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in thin film process and equipment, such as CVD, PVD, particularly Thermal Evaporation process
- Core hours are 8am-5pm
- role is hybrid based in Irvine, CA
