Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer responsible for improving production efficiency, stabilizing manufacturing processes, and leading automation and equipment upgrades across the plant. Design and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products; develop production tooling using SolidWorks (2D/3D); lead process optimization and productivity improvements on production lines; perform root cause analysis using Lean methods; conduct FMEA, DOE, and process validation; support new product launches and design changes for manufacturability; partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality); support automation projects including robotics, PLC integration, vision systems, end-of-arm tooling, fixtures and gauges; participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in Manufacturing Engineering in fabrication
- Strong tooling design experience
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks
- Exposure to Automation / robotics
- PLCs
- Project or initiative ownership experience
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools and problem-solving methods
