Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer responsible for obtaining machinery quotations, leading productivity- and process-improvement projects, and troubleshooting production issues. Role includes coaching team members, developing SOPs and SWIs, PFMEA for new production lines, leading kaizen initiatives, and coordinating with Operations on program deliverables. Responsibilities also cover automation troubleshooting, new equipment installation, trial runs, and collaboration with OEMs/contractors to ensure compliance with relevant standards. Travel up to 25% across sites; lead development of VSMs for production lines and standard work documentation, and mentor less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications

  • University or College degree/diploma in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Controls Technology or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with design standards US (i.e OSHA, NEC)
  • Solid understanding of safety systems design
  • Experience working with and troubleshooting robotics / controls systems, Control Logix PLCs and plant application controls and automation

Desired Qualifications
