Manufacturing Engineer, Staff

Job Summary
Lead manufacturing improvement projects by analyzing processes, production data, and workflows to drive operational excellence. Conduct root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and optimize productivity, efficiency, quality, and throughput across multiple Value Streams. Develop standard manufacturing methods, design production layouts, and execute capacity analysis and line balancing studies to reduce waste and eliminate operating costs. Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to support new product introductions, equipment validation, and sustainable process transfers while ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 4-5 years of related engineering experience
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Experience conducting: Time Studies Motion Studies Capacity Analysis Line Balancing Layout Design Productivity Improvements
- Knowledge of Quality Systems and Medical Device Regulations
- Knowledge of Process Validation, Traceability, Risk Management, and Quality Systems
- Technical skills in manufacturing processes, assembly operations, workflow design, layouts, tooling, and production equipment
- Ability to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and train others
- Strong analytical skills

Desired Qualifications
- Industrial Engineering is highly preferred
- Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other engineering disciplines may be considered if supported by relevant manufacturing improvement experience
- Medical Device industry experience is highly desirable
- Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certifications (preferred)
