Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary

Monitor process controls, resolve production bottlenecks, and support root-cause analysis while working directly with operators to ensure standard work is followed. Lead manufacturing and CapEx projects from concept to implementation, preparing cost estimates and budgets to ensure delivery on time and within scope. Drive practical shopfloor improvements, including Lean activities and tooling enhancements, to improve OEE and area KPI performance. Own process stability and capability, validating engineering changes with minimal disruption to production. Track and analyze production data using SAP, Power BI, and Excel to identify losses and inform decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject (engineering, physics, mathematics, economics, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with operational / shop floor best practices and performance standards
  • The ability to take a data-driven approach to identify root causes and drive improvements
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve real-time production issues
  • Decision making ability and good influencing / team working skills
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Self-driven with good attention to detail

Desired Qualifications

  • A certification in Lean Six Sigma is preferred
