Job Summary
Lead planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to manufacturing equipment and systems while co-leading teams. Drive specific projects to create and implement manufacturing processes that ensure safety, business, and product specifications are met. Apply manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools to enhance equipment and processes, adhering to Cummins standards. Develop manufacturing standards and working methods while communicating with and influencing external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members. Collaborate with internal and external resources on project assignments and coach key stakeholders. Maintain relationships within the organization to advance advanced manufacturing knowledge and practices.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices
- Knowledge or use of manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes
- Utilization of continuous improvement tools
- Knowledge and application of Cummins standards
- Ability to lead and co-lead teams
- Ability to lead the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to manufacturing equipment and systems
- Ability to create and implement all aspects of manufacturing processes
- Ability to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met
