Job Summary
Lead planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to manufacturing equipment and systems while co-leading teams. Drive specific projects to create and implement manufacturing processes that ensure safety, business, and product specifications are met. Apply manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools to enhance equipment and processes, developing standards and working methods aligned with Cummins requirements. Communicate with and influence key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members, while maintaining relationships and coaching key stakeholders on internal and external project assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading and co-leading teams
- Knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices
- Ability to lead communications with and influence key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members
- Ability to work with internal and external resources on specific project assignments
- Ability to maintain relationships and coach key stakeholders
- Onsite work model availability
