Job Summary
Act as the internal expert for various production processes across the plant, supporting operational departments to ensure on-time delivery and maintain high-quality standards while reducing costs. Apply problem-solving methods to eliminate quality issues, perform First Article Inspection, and introduce process controls to improve efficiency. Implement visual management and 5S practices, develop work instructions, and maintain internal procedures aligned with EN9100 and ISO 14001 standards. Manage engineering definition changes and specifications for composite assemblies used in aircraft skins, flap track fairings, and Ariane/Vega system integration.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering (specialization in Electromechanics, Mechanics, Materials, Aerospace, or a related field)
- At least 3 years of experience in production, engineering, or manufacturing engineering
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Knowledge of EN9100 quality standards and ISO 14001 environmental standards
Desired Qualifications
- Background in aerospace or aviation
- Experience with composite materials and composite manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of Lean tools such as 5S, visual management, flow, and value stream mapping
- Familiarity with APQP/PPAP processes
- Basic experience with CAD software, preferably Catia and AutoCAD
