Job Summary

Support manufacturing engineering activities by developing work packages, creating engineering drawings with CAD software, and assisting with material takeoffs and cutting machine programming. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and ensure specifications align with product design intent. Apply basic knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and tooling to optimize shop operations while adhering to safety standards. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, one year of related experience, and proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Travel between facilities as needed, with physical demands including lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial) or related field from an accredited college, university or technical school
  • 1+ years of related experience and/or training in engineering or manufacturing
  • Basic experience or coursework using SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Basic experience or coursework using AutoCAD
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under guidance while developing technical skills
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn manufacturing processes, shop operations, and production workflows
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with engineering software tools
  • Between facilities as needed
  • May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly
  • May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial) or related field from an accredited college, university or technical school preferred
  • Basic understanding of fabrication and assembly practices is preferred
  • Preferred exposure to ERP systems, production planning, or shop floor operations through coursework, internship, or work experience
