Job Summary
Manufacture and optimize precision CNC processes for aerospace/defense/industrial sectors. Lead process development, design fixtures and tooling with SolidWorks, create routings and work instructions, support estimating and quoting, analyze designs for time/cost/material needs, troubleshoot with production teams, manage workflows via ERP, ensure ISO9001/AS9100 compliance, and engage with customers to clarify technical requirements. Drive continuous improvement across engineering, operations, and business practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Proven background in a CNC machine shop environment (multi-axis machining preferred)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD for fixture and process design
- Strong understanding of machining principles, manufacturing processes, and process optimization
- Experience with estimating, quoting, and ERP systems
- Excellent organizational skills and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-facing experience a plus
- Familiarity with ISO9001 or AS9100 quality systems
- Strong math skills, practical problem-solving ability, and technical acumen
