Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Develop routing and manufacturing processes for new and existing jobs while improving machining efficiency, tooling, and workflows. Troubleshoot machining and process issues on the floor and support CNC programming, setup, prove-outs, and transitions into production. Work closely with operators, setup technicians, and leadership to evaluate tooling, materials, and process capability. Assist with time studies, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring team members and supporting new equipment implementation. This hands-on role focuses on solving real manufacturing problems across medical, aerospace, and defense applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10+ years in a manufacturing engineering or machining-focused environment
- Strong hands-on machining background
- CNC setup and troubleshooting experience
- Programming experience
- Experience supporting jobs from process development through production handoff
- Experience in precision machining
- Engineering degree helpful but not required; practical experience is highly valued
