Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for high-quality aerospace components while ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and FAA/EASA standards. Perform producibility assessments to support design engineering, analyze workflows to reduce waste, and implement lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies. Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot quality issues, develop tooling requirements, and configure accountability for production changes. Work in office and manufacturing plant environments, including rotating shifts with nights, weekends, and overtime, requiring physical stamina for up to 10 hours of standing or sitting. Maintain security clearance and Program Access approval.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- CAD/CAM software experience
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
- Ability to secure Program Access approval
- Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 10 hours a day
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach above head, climb a ladder and/or enter confined workspaces
- Ability to lift/move 30 lbs.
- Ability to lift/move 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating shift basis, including nights, weekends, and overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
