Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer to develop efficient production processes, plant layouts, and equipment, train staff on client product manufacturing processes, define manpower and skill requirements for each process, and assist in developing new plant processes and equipment. Responsibilities include collaborating on plant layout decisions, gathering information for bidding, contributing to improvement meetings, designing specialized machinery under guidance, and cross-functional teamwork to enhance departmental efficiency while upholding the client's mission and quality policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical training
- Four years of experience in a similar position, demonstrating a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering
- Proven ability to apply engineering principles to real-world production challenges
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adherence to the client's mission, quality policies, and commitment to mutual success
