Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer responsible for analyzing and improving production processes, optimizing equipment layout, material flow, and resource utilization; evaluates quality systems to ensure they meet both company and customer requirements; identifies and implements improvements that enhance operational performance, reduce waste, and drive overall efficiency across the organization. Lead ongoing analysis of manufacturing processes to improve profitability, product quality, and the effective use of plant, equipment, and workforce. Identify, recommend, and help implement capital improvements, including equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures, to support operational efficiency and growth. Develop and maintain critical data within manufacturing and inventory control systems, including work center structures, production routings, labor standards, lead times, and queue times to support capacity planning and production monitoring. Review and interpret customer quality requirements to ensure compliance, and assist in developing and refining internal quality processes and procedures aligned with customer expectations. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and other departments to align manufacturing practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Create and maintain CNC programs for a variety of machines using both manual programming techniques and advanced programming/nesting software. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with progressively responsible roles
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, manufacturing systems, and operational efficiency
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning; additional certifications or continuing education are a plus
