Job Summary
Lead development and implementation of best-in-class manufacturing engineering practices across the plant, focusing on safety, quality, responsiveness, and efficiency. Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions while conducting time studies and line balancing. Optimize material flow and plant layout through equipment and production line design. Set up, verify, and troubleshoot tools, machines, and processes; track critical asset downtime, conduct root cause analysis, and implement countermeasures to improve OEE. Serve as the single point of accountability for capital projects from authorization generation to asset release. Ensure successful qualification of new equipment into production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office (MS Project required)
- Experience operating tools, equipment, and machinery in an industrial setting
- Certifications such as CQM, ISO 9000/TS-16949 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- AutoCAD experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
