Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer at Ace Precision in Wisconsin. Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, analyzing production processes to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery; collaborating with production, quality, sales, and engineering teams on aerospace/defense programs; developing and validating processes using engineering principles, statistics, and Lean/Six Sigma; leading improvement projects with defined timelines; evaluating process performance with data; creating routings, work instructions, sketches, and process changes; designing complex routings and manufacturing sketches; supporting disposition of nonconforming product and determining rework or corrective actions; communicating project status to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders; documenting technical decisions and process changes with accuracy. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 3+ years of manufacturing experience; proficiency in 3D modeling (SolidWorks or similar), Microsoft Office, and applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
Required Qualifications

- 3+ years manufacturing experience
- Experience with 3D modeling (SolidWorks or similar software)
- Lean/Six Sigma knowledge
- Microsoft Office proficiency

- Experience with ERP system, preferably Epicor
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Project management experience
- Sheet metal forming, CNC machining, welding, heat treating/brazing, or 5-axis laser cutting (bonus)
- Ability to analyze data and apply statistical techniques in manufacturing
