Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer I to support production by improving processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring product quality. Responsibilities include designing and implementing manufacturing processes, identifying and resolving production issues, conducting time studies and process analysis to improve efficiency and reduce costs, collaborating with engineering, quality, and production teams, using Power BI to analyze data and provide insights, tracking throughput, efficiency, downtime, and quality, supporting continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma, ensuring safety and quality standards, assisting in selecting and qualifying new equipment and technologies, performing root cause analysis and supporting corrective actions. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience; CAD familiarity and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience
- Basic knowledge of assembly, testing, and material handling processes
- Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI preferred
