Job Summary
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products while implementing and maintaining production equipment, tooling, and fixtures. Conduct root cause analysis to implement corrective actions for production issues and develop process validation protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design manufacturability and identify continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows. Partner with leading companies in Mattawan that prioritize quality over speed in hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a high-volume production setting
- Proven experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data
