Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer position at Marshall Slingsby Advanced Composites involves leading initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiencies and productivity, working with composite structures for ships and aircraft, and applying lean manufacturing principles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or apprentice level trained engineer.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of working in manufacturing environment
- Ideally experienced in working with composite materials
- Previous experience delivering process engineering in medium or low volume manufacturing/ MRO environments
- Experience of collaborative working within teams in a manufacturing or MRO environment
- An understanding of structured quality and safety problem solving (such as '8D')
- An understanding and practical implementation of 'lean manufacturing' principles.
