Job Summary
Lead manufacturing engineering efforts by participating in customer interviews, assigning resources, and directing maintenance and tooling for all locations. Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical drawings to ensure designs conform to standards, while managing the CAPEX process and facility layouts using AutoCAD. Provide leadership and coaching to a team of ten to fifteen staff, conduct formal performance evaluations, and drive efficiency, safety, and quality improvements through process optimization. Monitor project activity against budgets and schedules, coordinate preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with government regulations. Work between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with up to 30% travel based on company needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
- Five or more years of related Industrial Engineering experience
- Prior exposure managing a team
- Prior exposure completing multi-variable work measurements
- Prior exposure developing labor standards
- Prior exposure developing process improvement initiatives
- Prior exposure developing network optimization projects
- Prior exposure within a distribution center environment
- Valid E-Verify participation
- Ability to work between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
- Ability to work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
- Travel up to 30% based on company need
