Job Summary
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with HS&E standards and rigorously resolve product safety issues. Drive a zero-defects culture by collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce risk and expedite engines through the factory. Develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes and digital systems to maximize engine life and minimize costs. Capture and analyze data to demonstrate process capability and share best practices within Communities of Practice. Resolve operational issues to meet project timescales while maintaining full adherence to MRP Part 145 and EASA Part 145 regulations in a highly regulated aerospace environment.
Required Qualifications
- Professionally Qualified Engineer (e.g. UK minimum HND/foundation degree or other national equivalent)
- General understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes relevant to Aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul
- Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
Desired Qualifications
- Recognised national or international engineering accreditation (e.g. UK IEng or CEng) where available
- General awareness of MRP Part 145 and EASA Part 145 regulations
- General awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling software tools relevant to the business
