Job Summary
Lead engineering projects from start to finish in an automotive manufacturing context, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence while aligning with customer requirements (PPAP and run at rate). Responsibilities include managing project phases from concept through prototype programs, performing manpower efficiency studies, developing line balancing and packaging/tech solutions for safe, efficient production, coordinating tooling design and capital budgeting, overseeing equipment relocation and maintenance setup, and driving continuous improvement with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency, ergonomics, safety, and cost. Proficiency with CAD/GD&T, documentation, and collaboration with production, customers, and vendors is required.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
