Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer - Machining at Rolls-Royce Power Systems (Aiken plant). Leads day-to-day manufacturing engineering support for Machining assembly lines, focusing on production stability and performance; supports implementation and sustainment of assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment; troubleshoots manufacturing issues with root-cause analysis and corrective actions; develops and updates work instructions, standard work, and process documentation; participates in continuous improvement activities targeting quality, efficiency, safety, and ergonomics; collaborates with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance; supports change management related to product, process, or equipment updates; analyzes production data to support performance improvements; ensures safety, quality and company standards; requires travel domestically and internationally; strong skills in CNC programming, CAD/CAM (Creo, Mastercam, Siemens NX), GD&T, Lean, SPC, and ERP/SAP systems; proficient in interpreting drawings and specifications and applying Industry 4.0/digital manufacturing concepts; requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering and 3 years of machining experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- 3 years of experience in machining engineering or 7 years of experience in machining engineering
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
