Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer to support satellite production at Lynk. Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for assembly, integration, and test operations; define process flows; design and build test fixtures, jigs, and tooling; collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure manufacturability; identify Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements and automation opportunities; maintain accurate manufacturing documentation and revision control; require hands-on experience with MES software and CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred). ITAR-compliance requirements apply. Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 3+ years of relevant experience are required. The role emphasizes translating engineering designs into clear, executable manufacturing processes in a fast-paced satellite production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience creating work instructions and process documentation in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience designing or building test fixtures, jigs, or tooling
- Experience with maintaining work instruction in MES software
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized in fast-paced environments
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Strong communication ability
