Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Partner with Operations and Engineering to drive process improvements, problem-solving initiatives, and project execution. Design, develop, test, and source tools, fixtures, machinery, and equipment while analyzing manufacturing data to identify cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities. Lead research on production flow and assembly methods, create standardized work instructions, and implement 5S workplace organization standards. Coordinate new product introductions and support product development through cost estimates and prototype builds. Requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 5–7 years of experience, and proficiency in SolidWorks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment design and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of materials and metals
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred)
- experience within heavy equipment, construction, or industrial manufacturing
- Familiarity with fabrication processes
- Lean Manufacturing certification
- equivalent continuous improvement experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
