Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes for prototypes and production across sheet metal, welding, and assembly; support production teams to streamline workflow, reduce setup time, and implement practical process improvements; prepare estimates, routings, and labor assumptions to ensure competitive pricing and margins; review customer drawings and models to identify manufacturing risks and cost drivers; provide technical guidance to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards; maintain BOMs and ERP data; drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support company growth.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years manufacturing engineering or fabrication experience
- sheet metal processes including forming, welding, and laser cutting
- experience with estimating, quoting, and manufacturability evaluation
- proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
- strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and process optimization
