Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes in alignment with product specifications and quality standards. This role involves approximately 75% travel to support manufacturing sites and includes responsibilities such as analyzing workforce utilization, designing layouts for maximum efficiency, collaborating with teams on product design and tooling, conducting Value Stream Analysis, and leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing tools. A Bachelor's in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and 1-3 years of relevant experience are required, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering required.
- 1-3+ years’ work experience in a manufacturing facility in an engineering role.
- Proven ability to see facility projects through to completion, on time and within budget.
- Technically proficient in applicable programs related to process improvement & MS Office.
- Ability to present in a clear and concise manner within all layers of the organization.
- A high energy team player with a go-getter attitude.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong analytical, organization and communication skills.
- AutoCAD/Solid works experience.
- Experience designing manufactured parts and developing comprehensive production floor layouts.
