Job Summary
Industrial Manufacturing Engineer responsible for developing and implementing scalable end-to-end production processes using Lean methodologies, facilitating industrialization and ramp-up in aerospace manufacturing. Key duties include defining and optimizing production layouts, line balancing, capacity models, using root-cause analysis to reduce waste, contributing to cost and lead-time improvements as part of the Quality, Lead Time, Technology and Cost (QLTC) framework, delivering input for business cases and proposals, leading or supporting industrialization projects with internal and external stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Program Management, Supply Chain), and ensuring safety compliance and ongoing KPI-driven improvements. Required experience includes Industrial Engineering in a production environment (minimum 5 years), NPI/industrialization, ISO9000/AS9100/D1-9000 knowledge, Lean methods, and strong English communication; DRM-level HBO-equivalent qualification and project/program management experience expected.
Required Qualifications
- Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in Industrial Engineering binnen een productieomgeving
- Vloeiend in de Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
- Aantoonbaar HBO werk- en denkniveau
- Ervaring met Lean Manufacturing methodieken
- Ervaring met project- of programmamanagement (bijvoorbeeld IPMA-D of PRINCE2 Foundation)
- Ervaring met Lean procesontwikkeling en Continuous Improvement
- Erfahrung met New Product Introduction (NPI) / industrialisatie en het verbeteren van bestaande productieprocessen
