Job Summary
Manage manufacturing processes and improvements in an Electro-Mechanical factory while working with production, product development, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. Create verification and validation plans for equipment and designs, analyze workflows to maximize efficiency, and develop automated processes. Design and implement production tooling, review new designs for manufacturability, and conduct failure investigations and tolerance analysis. Track rejects, document root causes, and coordinate prototype production to meet annual productivity goals. Support the Quality Management System ensuring compliance with ISO13485 and FDA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
- EIT Required
- 5+ years' experience
- Application of Lean and 6sigma Manufacturing principles
- In depth knowledge and understanding of manufacturing methods and processes
- Experience and aptitude in Design of Experiments
- Ability to find root cause and correct problems effectively
- Excellent analytical and judgment skills on tolerance issues
- The ability to read and interpret procedures and drawings
- Strong technical, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
- The ability to be dynamic and creative in identifying issues, their resolutions and in the execution of the resolutions
- The ability to remain open to new ideas and to maintain a positive attitude with a focus on quality
Desired Qualifications
- P.Eng preferred from EGBC
- Experience with automation, robotics and PLC programming
