Manufacturing Engineer III

Job Summary
Develop mass-production engineering parameters for new business while evaluating and improving manufacturing methods. Provide ongoing technical support to production and maintenance teams to ensure effective equipment use, and implement countermeasures for claims, IPD's, and downtime. Negotiate with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for the purchase of equipment, materials, and parts. Investigate and coordinate Kaizen activities, working with management and staff on machine capabilities, production schedules, and cost considerations. Develop necessary equipment for precise molded parts to guarantee quality. Requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with five years of experience, SolidWorks proficiency, and availability for international and domestic travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 or more years in a manufacturing/ engineering environment
- ME experience complimented with a degree
- knowledge/skills for basic machine design
- computer skills
- SolidWorks experience
- demonstrate capabilities [in SolidWorks]
- Must be available for international and domestic travel
Desired Qualifications
- Must have understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
