Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer III – E2E Delivery at DePuy Synthes/Johnson & Johnson in Raynham, MA. Lead projects within the Raynham site, develop and maintain detailed Microsoft Project plans for impacted product families, and provide direction to meet quality standards, documentation, capacity, and product availability. Support development and implementation of manufacturing processes, specifications, operator instructions, process studies, production readiness, investigations, root cause analysis, and report/presentation preparation. Coordinate updates to procedures, bills, routes, and travelers in the PLM system; lead equipment qualification from installation through IQ, OQ, and PQ; create controlled documentation (SOPs, work instructions, specifications); contribute to NPI capital justifications and cost-benefit analyses; support cross-functional teams (Operations Value Stream, OpEx, Planning, Engineering, Quality); ensure compliance with FDA regulations and company policies; maintain professional development and knowledge in standard engineering techniques and data presentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (minimum)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in engineering
- Engineering experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment
- Process validation experience
- Strong communication skills and collaboration across functions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Preferred: machining/casting/metal finishing/laser or production automation; 3D printing or additive manufacturing; project management; Six Sigma (green/black belt); GD&T
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically/internationally if required
