Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer II responsible for supporting a manufacturing line after product launch, interfacing with line operators and supervisors, conducting process validation, analyzing production performance, developing SOPs and work instructions, and driving process improvements under senior engineer guidance. Involves utilizing statistics to support process development, designing inspections and test requirements, and potentially traveling to equipment vendors for Factory Acceptance Testing. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience; familiarity with Creo/ SolidWorks is a plus. Onsite role with minimum 5 days per week in North Haven, CT; U.S. work authorization sponsorship is limited to Principal-level roles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Direct experience conducting assembly process validation
- Working knowledge of Creo or SolidWorks is a plus (preferably)
