Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer I supports designs through the design-development cycle and into production with emphasis on design producibility, manufacturing process development and support, and overseeing the transition of product to production including follow-on support. Builds essential skills while supporting engineering and manufacturing activity; participates in generating bill of materials, work/build instructions, fixtures/tools, and coordination of material flow and supplier interaction to ensure producibility and quality in production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree
- Typically possesses 0-3 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Hands-on engineering experience in a fabrication and assembly shop environment is desired
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams, and work to verbal and written instructions
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
