Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Designs portions of engineering solutions and establishes manufacturing processes for parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies based on established principles and requirements. Develops and distributes manufacturing documentation to support product design, configuration, and build requirements; implements time standards, production area layouts, and tooling for subsystems and new products; coordinates with internal and outsourced partners to release product improvements and new products; identifies areas for improvement, optimizes tool availability and cycle time, and communicates implementation plans to relevant levels and functions; participates with project teams to develop reliable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions for low-to-moderate complexity products; maintains relationships with suppliers and outsourced partners to manage deliverables, quality, schedules, and costs.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
- Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in engineering design and solutions, or a related field
- Preferred Certifications: Six Sigma Certification, APICS Certification
