Job Summary
Maintain overall product responsibility for Gate 3 Assembly and Gate 4 Test Cell processes by spending time on the shop floor to support 180+ personnel. Lead kaizen or lean action workouts to meet fulfillment goals while owning shop floor work instructions and ensuring compliance with OEM Manuals. Collaborate with operations, quality, and vendor teams to address tooling and manufacturing process improvements, providing leadership for shop floor projects. Drive resolution on technical issues and own maintenance budgets for critical projects. Hold self and team accountable to Aero Alliance compliance and EHS standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Industrial/Aeronautical
- 3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Lean Manufacturing experience driving process improvements
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs and projects
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Gas Turbines engines, preferably aircraft or aero derivatives
- Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to shop needs
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
