Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer-Gear Machining focused on hypoid bevel gear machining and grinding, providing technical direction and oversight for manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and documentation. Responsibilities include researching and implementing new technologies/processes, ensuring up-to-date technical documentation, cross-functional problem solving to improve equipment efficiency (OEE), day-to-day support of operations and maintenance, safety and ergonomics issue resolution, and training team members with manuals as needed. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, 5+ years in a manufacturing-support engineering role, experience with CNC machining/programming, high-volume manufacturing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; role is onsite with potential relocation benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in engineering support role in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing
- Prior experience with CNC machining and or programming
- Previous experience with computer- based office and engineering software, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Ability to work off shifts and weekends as well as overtime as needed
