Job Summary
Analyze and optimize production processes and manufacturing workflows to increase equipment availability, productivity, and efficiency. Execute root cause analysis and troubleshooting for sustainable problem-solving while actively supporting the continuous improvement process on the shopfloor. Plan and implement process and equipment optimizations, assisting with new starts, commissioning, and process changes. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to design and procure equipment, utilizing KPIs to drive improvements. Requires a degree in mechanical engineering or production technology, hands-on shopfloor presence, and experience with Lean methods and MES systems. Located at the Haan production site, this role offers direct influence on plant performance within a global filtration leader.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Produktionstechnik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder vergleichbar
- Erfahrung im Produktionsumfeld (Industrial / Process / Manufacturing Engineering)
- Praxiserfahrung in der Prozessoptimierung sowie Fehleranalyse und nachhaltiger Problemlösung
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Produktionsdaten und KPIs sowie deren strukturierte Auswertung
- Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
- Strukturierte, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Durchsetzungsvermögen
- Hands-on-Mentalität und Freude an der Arbeit nah an Produktion und Anlagen
- Priorisierung und strukturierte Abarbeitung von Optimierungspotenzialen im Produktionsumfeld
Desired Qualifications
- Interesse an der Weiterentwicklung von datengetriebenen Produktionsprozessen
- Kenntnisse in Lean-Methoden (z. B. KVP, 5S, Shopfloor-Management)
- Kenntnisse in MES-Systemen, Datenbanken oder vergleichbaren Systemen
