Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer for fabrication processes in medical device assemblies responsible for designing, scaling, and optimizing metal fabrication and metalworking processes; develops fabrication programs and tooling, implements PFMEA-aligned controls, supports design transfers and validation activities, drives continuous improvement to boost efficiency and reduce costs, mentors production personnel, and serves as SME in troubleshooting CAPA and GMP process compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication/manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, turret punch, welding, hardware insertion, metal finishing, and/or press brake
- Proficient with SolidWorks, ProE, AutoCAD, or other CAD software
- Experience with interpreting and creating engineering drawings, technical documentation, and specifications
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 & 13485 Quality System requirements
