Job Summary

Develop and launch material handling and storage products by executing process development, design verification, and validation activities. Troubleshoot equipment issues, balance lines, and design layouts to ensure successful product delivery. Manage projects to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery metrics while eliminating production risks and driving ergonomic improvements. Establish run rates, balance standard work, and implement quality control to reduce defects and labor inefficiency. Conduct process validations, create manufacturing documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches. Work a 5-day or 4-day schedule with core hours aligned to production.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Strong understanding ISO manufacturing regulations
  • Experience with designing and developing manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and process validation requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, and analytical skills
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook; & AutoCAD
  • Must be organized, ability to prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Able to communicate, collaborate, and implement projects with internal and external customers
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, quality, and reduce costs
  • Project management including establishing and maintaining project timelines with some direct supervision
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, procedures, and specifications
  • Conduct process validations and design transfer activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain stable and efficient manufacturing operations
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to medical device manufacturing
  • Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines and deliverables

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
