Job Summary
Troubleshoot manufacturing, equipment, and quality-related issues while developing practical solutions and leading root cause investigations. Support the design, improvement, and implementation of tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes, and develop documentation including engineering drawings and work instructions. Collect and analyze data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, suppliers, and machine shops to support new product introductions and project needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models
- Proficiency with SolidWorks
- Experience designing equipment, fixtures, tooling, or machinery
- Experience working with machine shops, fabricators, and vendors
- Comfortable working both on the manufacturing floor and in the office
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Comfortable presenting technical information to customers, management, and production personnel
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
- PLC, controls, robotics, or automation experience is a plus
- Injection molding experience is a plus
