Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer for electrical/electronics focus at Boeing. Responsibilities include developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies, leading manufacturing plans, coordinating with IPTs, improving build integration across programs, applying lean principles, and supporting issue resolution in factory environments. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in manufacturing, configuration management, and electrical manufacturing experience; relocation is offered. US Person export control requirement and first-shift operations noted; positions located in Long Beach or San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, technology, physics or chemistry or equivalent engineering experience
- 2+ years’ experience developing manufacturing plans based off released engineering, contractual requirements, depot maintenance documents, and other authorities for Operations
- 2+ years’ experience in production configuration management
- 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in electrical commodity
- Experience with export control requirements and satisfying a U.S. Person designation
