Job Summary
Join our high-impact team as a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, where you'll develop and optimize CNC milling processes for new and legacy components. Responsibilities include creating detailed CNC programs, defining operation sequences, troubleshooting shop floor issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product manufacturability. You will also mentor junior engineers and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have a relevant technical degree and significant experience in CNC machining, along with strong problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- An Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience
- A High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of proven professional experience
- Proficiency in CNC Milling Machining, including multi-axis vertical or horizontal machining centers
- Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation
Desired Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- Background in the aerospace industry
- Experience with machine automation integration
- Skills in inspection of machined parts
- Hands-on experience machining stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum
- Proficiency in CNC Programming using Siemens NX
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
