Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer responsible for CNC process development and optimization for pump-related machining. Design and optimize CNC programs for horizontal machining centers, Mill Turn, and CNC cylindrical grinders; design fixtures; develop process routing for new and transferred products; create SOPs and manage BOM and technical specifications. Monitor production issues, perform quick troubleshooting, and liaise with foreign engineers to ensure meeting quality, cycle time, and cost targets. Train operators on manufacturing processes and operating details. Requires ability to interpret product drawings and communicate effectively in English and Chinese; experienced in 5S/lean practices and continuous improvement projects; programming skills in Java and Python (or PLC) and familiarity with database programming. Education: Bachelor or above; Experience: minimum 5 years in machining; location: Qingdao, China.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above
- At least 5 years of machining experience
- Experience in pumps, compressors, engines, motors preferred
- Experience in 5S, safety, lean activities in workshop required
- Experience in quality-related and cross-department improvement projects preferred
- Good command of English and Chinese for communication
- Ability to understand and interpret product drawings, structures, and technology requirements in English and develop SOPs
