Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Machining) to develop and implement optimal, cost-effective machining processes in accordance with product specs and quality standards. Responsibilities include defining machining processes for new parts, creating process documentation, identifying capital equipment needs, researching and implementing automation, programming CNCs, setting up initial production launches, conducting time studies and cost analyses, and driving process improvements to achieve cost reductions, quality improvements, and increased labor efficiency. Collaboration with tool designers, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure process success and proper documentation throughout startup and long-term production.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
  • 5-10 years related experience and/or training
  • CNC Programming
  • CAD/CAM experience
  • Automation experience
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
