Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer to plan, design, implement, optimize, and continuously improve manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include evaluating and improving processes with vendors/operators, developing methods/equipment/workflows, analyzing workflow and layout for efficiency, troubleshooting production issues and training staff, coordinating with Quality for corrective actions and compliance with GMP and food safety standards, leading cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing production costs for decision-making, preparing performance reports, maintaining safety and quality standards, coordinating equipment maintenance, supporting design/development projects, and developing work instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging, Plastics Engineering, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role
- Strong knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or CAD software
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Hands-on experience with automated manufacturing equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
