Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer – Change Control & Engineering Support responsible for managing ECR/ECO processes and implementing design changes within MSP manufacturing operations. Lead manufacturing support activities for engineering change control, coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain, evaluate design modifications, assess manufacturing impacts, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement. Develop and maintain change-control documentation and manufacturing records. Proficient in SolidWorks and CAD tools, with strong knowledge of Aerosol Jet technology and manufacturing processes. Serve as a liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing, facilitating communication and ensuring successful execution of product and process changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks including 3D modeling, assemblies, engineering drawings, GD&T, redesign, and design evaluation
- Strong experience using CAD and engineering design software for product improvements
- Experience with Engineering Change Control processes (ECR/ECO)
- Experience supporting outsourced or contract manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of DFM, DFA, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
